The Studio

Meet your makers.

Where inspired dreams become intentionally designed spaces.

Reverie is a daydream. Seven is the number of completeness. The studio was built on one idea: the people who design a home should be the people who supply it and install it. That is how a daydream becomes a house.

Reverie 7

Albuquerque studio

A vision, turned into a thoughtfully complete space. Where inspired dreams become intentionally designed spaces.

The studio

A small team in Albuquerque with a showroom full of the things we specify: cabinetry and stone, working plumbing displays, lighting and hardware, wallpaper and wall finishes. Clients come here to decide, builders come here to plan, and the same faces are there from the first meeting to the reveal.

The lineage

We grew up on job sites. Decades of custom home construction in New Mexico taught us what survives the sun, the dry air and the hard water, and what looks great in a catalog and terrible by August. We design with that in the room.

The ambition

To be the studio New Mexico points to. Not the biggest, the one whose houses you recognize. Rooted in a New Mexico family of builders and designers since the 1980s, and finishing every reverie to the seventh step.

The people

Three designers. One standard.

N

Nicole

Principal Designer

Nicole leads every project at Reverie 7, from the first conversation through the final installation. With decades of experience on the construction side of custom homes, she brings a builder’s eye to design, so what we draw is what gets built. Her focus is on homes that make sense: layouts that work, materials that last, and finishes that feel like the people who live there.

M

Mckenna

Interior Designer

Mckenna develops the design packages that carry a project from concept to completion, including space planning, 3D renderings, and material and finish selections. She works closely with clients and their builders to keep every detail coordinated, so the finished space matches the rendering.

M

Maya

Junior Designer

Maya supports the design team through selections, sourcing, and purchasing, and is often the first person clients meet in the studio. She keeps samples, orders, and timelines on track so projects move smoothly from approval to installation.

The Seven Standards

The seven standards.

Nº 1

SeenYou see it before we order it.

A mood board, a drawing, a rendering: the level the decision deserves. Nobody approves a description of a room. You approve the room.

Nº 2

WholeOne studio, start to finish.

Design, product and installation from one address, on one proposal. No handoffs, because every handoff is a place where the idea gets lost.

Nº 3

CandidThe budget is a design decision.

Scope and an ideal number are agreed before the first sketch, and we design to them. We tell you the truth about what things cost and what materials do.

Nº 4

IntentionalNothing arrives by accident.

Every selection has a reason you could repeat to a friend. If a piece does not earn its place in the room, it does not get one.

Nº 5

RootedBuilt for here.

Sun almost every day, dry air, hard water, altitude. If it will not survive New Mexico, it does not go in. If it belongs here, it belongs in the plan.

Nº 6

PresentWe are in the room.

At the consultation, in the showroom, on the job. The person who drew it can walk it, and the crew that sets it works for us.

Nº 7

CompleteFinished means finished.

Walked room by room against the plan you approved, broom clean, warranties in hand, nothing left for you to chase. Seven is the number of completeness. This is why.
