Second Act

Rooms that get it right this time.

The kitchen that has waited long enough. The primary bath that was never the one you wanted. The closet you avoid. A remodel is a second chance at a room, and we take second chances seriously.

What we remodel

Kitchens, primary baths, powder rooms, closets and dressing rooms, home bars, laundry rooms and whole houses. We coordinate with your contractor, or bring our own installation team for the cabinetry, stone, tile, fixtures and finishes we specify.

Why it works

You see the new room before demolition, on a mood board or in a rendering, you touch every finish in the showroom, and you get one itemized proposal. Then our crew sets it. Clients tell us the finished room looks exactly like the picture they approved. That is the standard.

Rº7 field notes

Remodel truths, learned the hard way.

Field Note Nº 1

The kitchen budget is not where you think.

It hides in the plumbing move, the electrical, the venting and the floor patch. We find it at the consultation, not at the invoice.

Field Note Nº 2

Order the cabinets before you demo.

Lead times decide your schedule. We order first and swing the hammer when the truck is scheduled.

Field Note Nº 3

A rendering is cheaper than a regret.

Every remodel we render gets approved faster and changed less. Every one.

Featured project

A Renaissance sky over the dining table.

Custom cabinetry, a wallpaper sky over the dining table, and a dressing room with a rose quartz island. Proof that cabinetry, wallpaper and closets alone can change how a house feels.

How it works

Three phases. You approve each one.

  1. Phase Nº 1

    See it first.

A consultation to agree on scope and an ideal budget. Then the design plan at the level the project calls for: mood boards, drawings, and renderings where they earn their keep, plus selections, with two revision rounds. You approve a picture, not a promise.

  2. Phase Nº 2

    Touch it, then price it.

Every finish is confirmed in the showroom, in person, in daylight. You get one itemized proposal for design, product and installation. One number, no scavenger hunt.

  3. Phase Nº 3

    We put it in.

Trade accounts, lead times and a delivery plan set in advance. Our installation team sets the cabinetry, stone, fixtures and finishes, leaves it broom clean, and hands you the manufacturer warranties.

Asked and answered

Do you take single room projects?

Yes. One bath is a whole project to us and gets the same process, scaled to its size.

Can you work with my contractor?

Yes. We design, supply and coordinate, or bring our own installation team for the pieces we specify.

How is design billed?

A design fee for the plan, or design wrapped into the project with a deposit. Agreed at the consultation.
